The Caribbean Kitties
Posted on October 05 2017
St. Louis Pet Rescue pulled this beautiful family of eight kittens and their momma from Poplar Bluff Animal Control to save them from being euthanized. With a litter this big it’s no wonder many of the kittens were underweight and needed supplemental syringe feeding. The momma was named Aqua, and her babies, Cruz, Caneel, Coral, Jumbie, Squid, Shrimp, Maho and Kapok, were named after things seen on beautiful St. John USVI. All eight of these kittens were adopted in pairs, and their momma found her forever home too! STLPR is a foster based 501(c)(3) organization that helps homeless animals like these to find their loving, forever homes. We rescue about 500 animals a year (dogs and cats combined), and we take great pride in knowing that many of these rescues are ones that require special medical attention (amputation, reconstructive surgery, FIV positive cats, etc.).
